The Bras d’Or Preservation Nature Trust is inviting all those interested in birds and birding to attend a free presentation on the birds of the Bras d’Or lake watershed. Local naturalist Bethsheila Kent has been birding in Cape Breton for over 30 years and will be delighting the audience with her stories, anecdotes, and photos of the local avian wildlife. Come out and compare sightings, share your observations or begin your discovery into the delightful realm of the birds.
The presentation is taking place on Wednesday July 27th, 2011 at 7pm . We are located in the historic stone post office at 532 Chebucto Street in Baddeck, and the presentation will be on the second floor. Admission is free but donations will be gratefully accepted and will go to support the Bras d’Or Lakes and Watershed Interpretive Centre. Seating will be limited, but you may call ahead to reserve a seat or for more info: 902-295-1675. Please bring or tell a friend!
